The week of August 10–14, 2026 was marked by a new wave of earnings reports and relevant decisions on B3, with highlights for Banco do Brasil (BBAS3), Petrobras (PETR4), Vibra (VBBR3) and CSN (CSNA3). Banco do Brasil reported profit of R$ 3.9 bn in 2Q26 and approved interest on equity (JCP, a form of shareholder remuneration similar to dividends but with different tax treatment) of R$ 0.10 per share in the quarter, while holding company Itaúsa (ITSA4) reported profit of R$ 9.6 bn in 1H26, profit of R$ 5.2 bn in 2Q26 and approved JCP of R$ 0.254 per share for 2026. At Petrobras, in addition to disclosing R$ 161 bn in taxes paid in 1H26, the company announced a new hydrocarbon discovery in Amapá and the receipt of R$ 536.7 mn in subsidies.

In the energy and infrastructure segment, the week brought a series of announcements. Taesa (TAEE11) completed the acquisition of transmission assets for R$ 1.6 bn, approved distributions of R$ 0.20 per share and reported profit of R$ 567.1 mn in 2Q26, as well as obtaining an installation license (LI) for the Juruá project, with permitted annual revenue (RAP, an indicator of regulated revenue for transmission assets) of R$ 20.5 mn. Equatorial Energia (EQTL3) reported profit of R$ 653 mn in 2Q26, while CPFL Energia (CPFE3) and Cemig (CMIG4) reported quarterly profits of R$ 1.4 bn and R$ 945 mn, respectively. In gas, Compass (PASS3) reported profit of R$ 287 mn in 2Q26 and approved a share buyback program of up to 3.2 mn shares, while Axia Energia (AXIA3) recorded R$ 1.5 bn in subscribed debentures, had its rating upgraded by Fitch and announced the redemption of non-convertible preferred shares (PNC).

Among commodities and industrial companies, Cosan (CSAN3) reported a loss of R$ 320 mn in 2Q26, announced the spin-off of Radar II, the end of its ADS (American Depositary Shares, depositary receipts traded on US exchanges) on the NYSE and disclosed a letter of intent for the sale of an asset. Braskem (BRKM5) reported profit of R$ 3.3 bn and EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, an operating indicator) of R$ 5.3 bn in 2Q26, while CSN (CSNA3) reported a loss of R$ 773 mn in 2Q26, completed the exchange of US$ 1 bn in 2028 Notes and published clarifications and the receipt of proposals related to the sale of CSN Cimentos. In agribusiness and renewable energy, Suzano (SUZB3) reported profit of R$ 1.8 bn and EBITDA of R$ 4.7 bn in 2Q26, SLC Agrícola (SLCE3) reported profit of R$ 245 mn in 2Q26 and Raízen (RAIZ4) posted a loss of R$ 1.6 bn in 1Q of the 2026/27 crop year.

The financial sector and capital markets services were also active, with B3 (B3SA3) reporting profit of R$ 1.7 bn and recurring profit of R$ 1.4 bn in 2Q26, as well as announcing a 7% increase in cash market volume in July and the departure of vice president Ana Buchaim. BTG Pactual (BPAC11) reported adjusted profit of R$ 5.1 bn in 2Q26, while Caixa Seguridade (CXSE3), Banrisul (BRSR3) and Banco Pine (PINE4) reported quarterly profits of R$ 1.14 bn, R$ 325.4 mn and R$ 165.7 mn, respectively. Among capital and governance changes, Americanas (AMER3) completed the first closing of the sale of HNT stores, reported a capital increase of R$ 0.2, as well as a loss of R$ 603 mn in 1H26; the Radomysler family came to hold 33% of Allied (ALLD3), turning the company into a full corp (a company with widely held capital and no defined controlling shareholder); and B3 recorded new equity movements, with BTG Pactual reaching 10% of Méliuz (CASH3) and JP Morgan and Invesco reaching 5% in Méliuz and Cyrela (CYRE3/CYRE4), respectively.
