When we correct
We correct factual, numerical, attribution, or context errors as soon as they are identified. Small wording adjustments may be made without changing the meaning; material changes should be reflected in the page's updated date.
How we communicate corrections
When a correction changes relevant information, we record the update clearly on the story itself. We do not silently remove or alter a fact to hide an error.
How to request a correction
Send a request to [email protected] with the story URL, the disputed passage, and the source supporting the correction. We will assess the information and update the page when there is sufficient evidence.
