JPMorgan Chase & Co. reached a 5.14% stake in Méliuz (CASH3) on August 11, 2026, through equity swap derivative instruments backed by the company’s common shares. The position considers Méliuz’s share capital represented by 104,171,852 common shares.

According to the notice, companies controlled by JP Morgan acquired a total of 230,249 positions in derivative instruments backed by Méliuz common shares, increasing the consolidated cash-settled derivatives position to the equivalent of 5,359,808 common shares, corresponding to 5.14% of the capital.

In Table C of the notice, JP Morgan reports a long position in equity swaps totaling 5,359,808 shares, equivalent to 5.14% of the common shares, and a short position in equity swaps of 587,400 shares, corresponding to 0.56% of the total, as per Table D.

JP Morgan’s economic group stated that the increase in its stake is solely motivated by investment purposes and by hedging financial risks assumed in transactions with clients, with no intention of changing the composition of Méliuz’s control or management structure, without prejudice to the regular exercise of voting rights by investors.

Méliuz also reported that it will update its Reference Form to reflect the new stake, in line with CVM regulations. The notice is dated Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
