Gafisa (GFSA3) reported that, in 2026, a letter of adjudication was issued for all shares of Hotéis Chami S.A., the subsidiary that owns Hotel Praia Ipanema, in favor of GLORIA VIII SPE Participações Imobiliárias Ltda. The adjudication amount, defined in an expert report ratified by the Judge of the 15th Civil Court of the Capital District of the State of Rio de Janeiro, totals R$ 223,114,000.00.
According to Gafisa’s management, the adjudication of the asset is aligned with the company’s best interest, as it includes deleveraging among the goals of its business plan, with the potential sale of the asset being one of the paths considered. The company also highlighted that the value attributed to Hotel Praia Ipanema substantially exceeds the non-binding offers received in recent months and was allocated to the immediate write-off of lawsuits and liabilities related to the project, for which Gafisa is a guarantor or co-obligor, in addition to relieving the need to seek new leverage to invest in the development and construction of the project.
