On Thursday, August 13, 2026, CPFL Energia (CPFE3) released its results for the second quarter of 2026 (2Q26), reporting net income of R$ 1.438 billion, up 21.3% compared to 2Q25. In the same period, consolidated EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) totaled R$ 3.556 billion, a 17.4% increase year over year, while net operating revenue reached R$ 11.107 billion, an advance of 5.3%.

In the first half of 2026 (1H26), net income came to R$ 3.347 billion, a 19.5% increase versus 1H25, and EBITDA totaled R$ 7.417 billion, up 7.8%. Power demand in the concession area reached 17,502 GWh in 2Q26, growth of 4.4% over 2Q25, and power consumed totaled 19,933 GWh, up 4.0%, with highlights in the residential and commercial classes and higher consumption from data centers.

By segment, 2Q26 EBITDA was R$ 2.301 billion in Distribution, R$ 767 million in Generation & Energy Management, R$ 400 million in Transmission and R$ 88 million in Services & Others. Quarterly net income by segment was R$ 909 million in Distribution, R$ 318 million in Generation & Energy Management, R$ 169 million in Transmission and R$ 41 million in Services & Others.

The company reported investments (Capex) of R$ 1.527 billion in 2Q26, an increase of 7.4% versus 2Q25, of which R$ 1.220 billion in Distribution, R$ 73 million in Generation & Energy Management, R$ 211 million in Transmission and R$ 23 million in Services & Others. In the half-year, investments totaled R$ 2.788 billion. The Board of Directors approved multi-year guidance for 2026–2030, projecting total Capex of R$ 31.138 billion for the cycle, of which R$ 25.300 billion in Distribution, R$ 904 million in Generation & Energy Management, R$ 4.539 billion in Transmission and R$ 395 million in Services & Others, in constant currency.

On indebtedness, CPFL Energia closed June 2026 with net debt of R$ 32.519 billion under the financial covenant criteria, an increase of 19.2% compared to June 2025, and leverage of 2.36 times Net Debt/EBITDA under the same criteria. Under IFRS, gross financial debt was R$ 36.372 billion, with cash and equivalents of R$ 3.988 billion, resulting in net debt of R$ 32.383 billion and an average cost of debt of 12.6% per year.
