On Friday, August 14, 2026, Ânima Educação (ANIM3) reported net income attributable to controlling shareholders of R$ 29.1 million in the second quarter of 2026 (2Q26), compared with R$ 9.5 million in 2Q25. In the first half of 2026 (1H26), net income totaled R$ 135.3 million, an increase of 28.6% versus 1H25, supported by higher EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) and lower amortization of intangibles from acquisitions.
Consolidated net revenue reached R$ 1,050.0 million in 2Q26, up 4.4% from 2Q25, and totaled R$ 2,170.5 million in 1H26, an increase of 6.1% over the same period of the previous year. Adjusted EBITDA ex-IFRS16 was R$ 314.9 million in 2Q26, 11.9% higher than in 2Q25, with a margin of 30.0% (versus 28.0% a year earlier), and came to R$ 690.9 million in 1H26, an increase of 7.6%, with a margin of 31.8%.
By segment, Ânima Core posted net revenue of R$ 554.1 million in 2Q26, growth of 4.0% versus 2Q25, while Digital Education saw a 14.0% drop in net revenue, to R$ 81.5 million, impacted by restrictions from the New Regulatory Framework and changes in the enrollment cycle. Inspirali, the operation focused on medicine, recorded net revenue of R$ 414.4 million in 2Q26, up 9.8% year over year. In 1H26, net revenue reached R$ 1,191.2 million in Core (+7.4%), R$ 154.7 million in Digital Education (-10.2%) and R$ 824.6 million at Inspirali (+7.9%).
The company reported operating cash generation of R$ 400.8 million in 2Q26 and R$ 861.2 million in 1H26, 10.7% higher than in 1H25. The company’s cash generation was R$ 149.9 million in 2Q26 and R$ 448.8 million in the half-year period, growth of 7.2% compared with 1H25. At the end of June 2026, adjusted net debt stood at R$ 3,022.4 million, practically stable compared with the R$ 3,005.9 million in June 2025, and leverage was 2.41 times net debt to adjusted EBITDA ex-IFRS16 for the last 12 months, versus 2.66 times a year earlier.
Among its financing initiatives, Ânima Educação completed, in the 12 months to June 30, 2026, its 8th debenture (debt securities) issuance of R$ 300 million, a 4th issuance of commercial notes of R$ 250 million and a bilateral credit transaction of R$ 250 million, in addition to the early repayment of R$ 215 million of its 6th debenture issuance, without penalty. The company also reported the settlement of the remaining 5.578% minority interest in FASEH, in the amount of R$ 12.0 million, to be paid in 48 monthly installments adjusted by the INPC.
