Banco do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (Banrisul, BRSR3) reported this Tuesday, August 11, 2026, that Robson Oliveira Santos has taken office as the institution’s new Development Officer. The appointment was approved by the Board of Directors on June 25, 2026, and received approval from the Central Bank of Brazil on August 10, 2026.
Robson Oliveira Santos served as Banrisul’s Executive Superintendent of Agribusiness between December 2023 and August 2026, a position he had also held between 2018 and 2021. From 2021 to 2023, he worked as the bank’s Executive Superintendent of Retail, accumulating more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector in areas such as credit management, risk, products, strategic planning, financial controllership, and corporate relations.
Currently, the executive also serves as Fiscal Council Member of Fundação Banrisul de Seguridade Social and as Board Member of EMATER/ASCAR-RS. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from UFRGS, has an MBA in Agribusiness from ESALQ/USP, and has participated in international executive education programs in Silicon Valley and Israel.
