On Friday, August 14, 2026, Multiplan (MULT3) announced the launch of Lake Baikal, the third phase of the Golden Lake residential development in Porto Alegre, with an estimated General Sales Value (PSV) of R$ 400.0 million and 19,500 m² of private floor area, which represents an average price of approximately R$ 20,500 per m². The project is part of the development of the city’s first private neighborhood and is included in the Golden Lake masterplan, which foresees eight phases.
Lake Baikal will consist of two residential towers with 31 floors, incorporating the new construction potential allowed by the revised Porto Alegre Master Plan. Delivery of the project is expected in June 2030, with 88 apartments ranging from 190 m² to 250 m², in addition to exclusive penthouses, leisure and wellness infrastructure, and high-end finishes, according to the company.
With the launch of Lake Baikal, the three Golden Lake phases already launched — Lake Victoria, Lake Eyre, and Lake Baikal — now total 309 residential units, approximately 73,000 m² of private floor area, and an estimated General Sales Value (PSV) of more than R$ 1.4 billion. In December 2025, Multiplan completed delivery of Lake Victoria, the first phase of the development, and in July 2026 it opened the Wellness Center, with more than 3,500 m² dedicated to residents’ well-being.
Golden Lake also features the Main Lake, a swimmable lagoon with crystal-clear water and approximately 5,000 m², as well as sports areas, landscaping, and social spaces. The complex is part of the BarraShoppingSul development, which includes the mall opened in 2008, the Cristal Tower (2011) and Diamond Tower (2015) office buildings, and the Résidence du Lac (2015) residential building, combining commercial and residential projects in the southern area of Porto Alegre.
