Eternit (ETER3) posted net income of R$ 13.6 million in the second quarter of 2026 (2Q26), reversing the loss from 1Q26. Compared to 2Q25, profit fell 55.4% from R$ 30.6 million a year earlier. Consolidated net revenue reached R$ 293.6 million in 2Q26, up 6.1% year over year.
Gross profit totaled R$ 53.9 million in 2Q26, a 25.4% drop from the R$ 72.2 million in 2Q25, with a gross margin of 18.3%, versus 26.1% a year earlier. Performance reflected a lower contribution from the Chrysotile Mineral segment, whose gross profit fell from R$ 48.5 million to R$ 11.2 million, while the Fiber Cement segment advanced to gross profit of R$ 41.5 million, up 75.9%.
Recurring EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) came to R$ 22.4 million in 2Q26, a 38.5% decline compared to the R$ 36.3 million in 2Q25, with a recurring EBITDA margin of 7.6%, 5 percentage points below the previous year. Under the CVM definition, EBITDA totaled R$ 40.2 million in the quarter, down 27.7% from the R$ 55.6 million in 2Q25.
By segment, Fiber Cement maintained its growth, with net revenue of R$ 210.1 million in 2Q26, an increase of 25.4% versus 2Q25, supported by sales of 172 thousand tons (+14.0%) and the expansion of industrialized construction, whose revenue reached R$ 16.7 million (+50.3%). EliteMov, the group’s logistics company, reported net revenue of R$ 7.4 million in 2Q26, versus R$ 0.2 million in 2Q25. The Chrysotile Mineral segment, in turn, posted net revenue of R$ 76.0 million, a 30.2% decline on the same comparison basis.
In terms of capital structure, Eternit ended 2Q26 with net debt of R$ 161.2 million, an increase of 29.27% compared to March 31, 2026. The Net Debt/recurring EBITDA ratio reached 2.96x at the end of the quarter.
