The week of August 17–21, 2026 was highlighted by Eneva (ENEV3), which approved funding of up to R$ 3 bn through the assignment of receivables, and Petrobras (PETR4), which started negotiations to acquire exploration blocks in Ghana. Among corporate and financial transactions, Axia Energia (AXIA3, AXIA7) recorded a R$ 1.3 bn agreement under ACO 3,024, approved the write-off of R$ 1.1 bn in liabilities and announced the conversion and redemption of PNCs (commercial profit-sharing certificates). In the regulatory and legal field, Vale (VALE3) reported that 45 municipalities had joined the Fundão agreement, while Casas Bahia (BHIA3) clarified news about a Federal Police investigation and recorded that there is no agreement for DIP financing (in a judicial reorganization process).

In the capital and shareholder structure segment, Banco Pine (PINE4) canceled 4 mn preferred shares, TIM (TIMS3) approved a share buyback program of up to R$ 1 bn, and Santander Brasil (SANB11) raised R$ 600.3 mn in financial bills. Relevant investor moves included the reduction of Kapitalo’s stake in Cyrela (CYRE4) to below 5%, of Brandes’ stake in Embraer (EMBJ3) to 4.92% and of BlackRock’s stake in Gerdau (GGBR4) to 9.99%, while BlackRock maintained a 10% stake in B3 (B3SA3). Among stake increases, São Pedro Capital reached 15% of Enjoei (ENJU3), Compostella reached 5% of Anima Educação (ANIM3), Trígono Capital reduced its stake to 14.94% in Kepler Weber (KEPL3) and Bradesco came to hold 12% of Brava Energia (BRAV3).

In results and cash generation, Qualicorp (QUAL3) reported revenue of R$ 1.4 bn in 2Q26, Unipar (UNIP3) recorded revenue of R$ 5.2 bn in the last 12 months and MRV (MRVE3) posted adjusted profit of R$ 55 mn in 2Q26. Fras-le (FRAS3) reported revenue of R$ 482.6 mn in July 2026 and Randon (RAPT4) reported revenue of R$ 1.23 bn in the same month, while Lavvi (LAVV3) reported profit of R$ 361 mn in 2Q26 on a last-12-months basis. In infrastructure, Equatorial Energia (EQTL3) recorded capex (investments) of R$ 4.4 bn at CEEE-D, Taesa (TAEE11) reported additional RAP (allowed annual revenue) of R$ 24.2 mn with the Saíra project and R$ 5.4 mn with Tangará, and Celesc (CLSC3; CLSC4) announced an average tariff increase of 10.82%. Also in the power sector, Light (LIGT3) recorded a capital increase of R$ 8,700 and a rating upgrade by Fitch, while Cemig (CMIG4) reported that its credit rating was raised by S&P to AAA.

The period also brought decisions on distributions and rating changes. Banco do Brasil (BBAS3) approved JCP (interest on equity, a form of shareholder remuneration) of R$ 0.0345 per share for 3Q26, Ser Educacional (SEER3) announced dividends of R$ 0.41 per share, Marcopolo (POMO3, POMO4) approved dividends of R$ 0.13 per share and SLC Agrícola (SLCE3) announced distributions of R$ 0.90 per share. Braskem (BRKM5) announced a US$ 476 mn capital injection in Braskem Idesa at the same time that its preferred share (BRKM3) had its rating cut by Fitch to RD. On the corporate side, Embraer (EMBR3) reported the resignation of a board member nominated by the federal government, CSU Digital (CSUD3) called an EGM to elect a new member of the fiscal council, Orizon (ORVR3) announced the purchase of an additional 5.85% stake in Ecourbis, PetroReconcavo (RECV3) announced a new gas contract with Petrobras, Sanepar (SAPR4) reported denial of an appeal at AGEPAR and Portobello (PTBL3) completed the sale of the Pointer unit to Grupo Almeida. Completing the picture are Viveo (VVEO3), with a rating upgrade to BB-.br, Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3), with production of 9,700 boe (barrels of oil equivalent) in 2Q26, Simpar (SIMH3), which announced an asset swap receiving R$ 65 mn, Multilaser (MLAS3) and Positivo (POSI3), which reported exposure of R$ 20 mn and R$ 19 mn, respectively, to Casas Bahia, Bradespar (BRAP4), which reported a 36% discount to the value of its assets, and Itaú Unibanco (ITUB4), which reported preliminary approval to operate a bank in the US.
