CM Hospitalar S.A. (Viveo, VVEO3) had its corporate rating upgraded in 2026 by Moody’s Local BR Agência de Classificação de Risco Ltda., which revised the rating from CCC+.br to BB-.br and changed the outlook to positive. The change takes into account the completion, in July 2026, of the restructuring of the financial debt included in the negotiation.
According to the agency, the restructuring significantly extended the amortization schedule and, combined with the capital increase that was announced, with a minimum amount guaranteed by the controlling shareholder through the capitalization of debenture credits (debt securities issued by the company), helps to reduce leverage and strengthen Viveo’s capital structure.
The rating upgrade also applies to the company’s 4th, 5th and 6th debenture issuances and to the 7th debenture issuance of Cremer S.A., which were raised to BB-.br, also with a positive outlook. Moody’s Local Brasil states that the positive outlook reflects the improvement in the credit profile after the debt restructuring.
According to the agency, the expectation is for Viveo’s deleveraging trend to continue over the next 12 to 18 months, accompanied by what is considered adequate liability management and free cash flow generation. The full report is available on the company’s Investor Relations website.
