On Thursday, August 20, 2026, after a conciliation hearing held on June 23, 2026, Axia Energia S.A. (AXIA3, AXIA7) executed a Settlement Agreement with the Federal Government and the State of Piauí regarding Original Civil Action No. 3,024 (ACO 3.024), pending before the Federal Supreme Court (STF). The agreement covers the full amount arising from the judgment of ACO 3.024, totaling two installments of R$ 650 million, or R$ 1.3 billion.
The Settlement Agreement will be submitted for approval by the STF. Payment by Axia Energia will be made in two installments of R$ 650 million, with the first due within 5 business days after the final and unappealable approval of the agreement and the second by December 20, 2026. The company reported that the amount involved in the settlement has already been provisioned.
