The week between August 31 and September 4 focused on corporate reorganizations and management changes. Arezzo (AZZA3) announced the spin-off of its businesses with the creation of two companies listed on B3, while CSN (CSNA3) reported the appointment of Fabio Schvartsman as its new CEO. In digital retail, Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) disclosed a partnership with Mercado Livre, and Natura (NATU3) announced a CEO change as of October 2026.

In funding and capital structure, CVC (CVCB3) approved its 7th debenture issuance (debt securities issued by companies) of up to R$ 450 mn, and Axia Energia (AXIA3) authorized a fundraising of up to R$ 3.5 bn in debentures, in addition to approving the redemption of R$ 55.56 per non-convertible preferred share (PNC). Eneva (ENEV3) announced a corporate swap transaction with an inflow of R$ 400 mn and completed the sale of the Pecém II plant for R$ 839.2 mn, while JHSF (JHSF3) raised R$ 800 mn in debentures to back Real Estate Receivables Certificates (CRI). OranjeBTC (OBTC3) raised R$ 210 mn in its 3rd debenture issuance and Biomm (BIOM3) approved an R$ 88.3 mn debenture issuance.

Among corporate and M&A moves, B3 (B3SA3) concluded the purchase of 60% of CRDC for R$ 15 mn and reported the cancellation of R$ 2.2 bn in tax assessments at CARF. Grupo GPS (GGPS3) closed the acquisition of Uniflex and the purchase of 65% of Grupo Aster, while OceanPact (OPCT3) announced a business combination with CBO and completed the acquisition of Dock Brasil. In investments and operations, Taesa (TAEE11) reported an investment cycle of R$ 6.7 bn in 2026, Brava Energia (BRAV3) produced 81.6 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day in August, and PRIO (PRIO3) reached daily production of 186 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) in the same month.

Other highlights included Suzano’s (SUZB3) announcement of the purchase of 10% of Imetame Logística, a R$ 130 mn capital injection in Hospital Biocor by Rede D'Or (RDOR3) and Bradsaúde (SAUD3), and the release of R$ 57 mn in credit for Dexxos (DEXP3, DEXP4). In the financial segment, Banco Mercantil (BMEB3, BMEB4) reported a new controlling block and Banco Santander (SANB11) detailed the progress of its share swap tender offer (OPA de permuta). In governance and regulatory events, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) recorded the suspension of its shares for 180 days as part of its court-supervised restructuring process, Ambipar (AMBP3) reported the suspension of a creditors’ meeting, and Qualicorp (QUAL3) announced a change in the executive presidency.
