Motiva Infraestrutura de Mobilidade (MOTV3) completed on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, the sale of all the shares it held in Companhia de Participações em Concessões (CPC), a transaction initially announced on November 18, 2025. With this, Aeropuerto de Cancún, S.A. de C.V., a subsidiary of Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (ASUR), came to directly hold control of CPC, the holding company that concentrates Motiva’s equity interests in airport assets in Brazil and abroad.
According to the material fact, the transaction considered an equity value of R$ 5.0 billion, subject to customary contractual adjustments determined at closing. After these adjustments, the price effectively received by Motiva as a result of the transaction was R$ 5.187 billion.
The company reported that the completion of the sale of CPC represents a stage of its strategic plan, as it enables the simplification of the portfolio, the unlocking of asset value, and the strengthening of its financial capacity for investments in new infrastructure projects.
