Winklevoss Capital Fund, LLC reduced its stake in OranjeBTC S.A. – Educação e Investimento (OBTC3) in 2026, and now holds 31,919,780 common shares, equivalent to approximately 18.93% of the total common shares issued by the company. Before the reported divestments, the fund held 37,863,960 common shares, representing about 22.46% of the total.
According to OranjeBTC, on September 2, 2026, Winklevoss Capital’s ownership fell below 20% of the total common shares, a threshold that corresponds to 33,721,640 shares of the company.
Winklevoss Capital also reported that the newly disclosed position is for investment purposes, with no intention of changing OranjeBTC’s control or management structure. The fund stated that it holds no other securities issued by the company, such as subscription warrants, subscription rights, stock options or convertible debentures, nor any derivative financial instruments referenced to the company’s shares, and that it has not entered into contracts or agreements to govern voting rights or the purchase and sale of OranjeBTC securities other than those already disclosed.
