Taesa (TAEE11) reported that in 2026 it is completing an investment cycle totaling R$ 6.7 billion in the power transmission sector. Of this amount, R$ 4.3 billion corresponds to the construction and expansion of projects such as Tangará and Ananaí, the modernization of Saíra and the reinforcement of ATE, while R$ 2.4 billion refers to the acquisition of five new concessions.

The main projects delivered in 2026 comprise 642 km of transmission lines, 13 substations and 4.6 GW of capacity, with Permitted Annual Revenue (RAP) of R$ 507 million, already including PIS/COFINS for the 2026–2027 cycle. The acquisitions add 1,314 km of lines, 12 substations and 4.5 GW of capacity, with RAP of R$ 305 million, resulting in a total of R$ 812 million in RAP and an increase of 13% in the length of lines, 18% in the number of substations and 62% in the portfolio’s capacity.

In the period 2022–6M26, Taesa’s CAPEX reached R$ 8.2 billion, considering large-scale projects and reinforcements, including compensation paid upon the signing of the Saíra contract. In 6M26, CAPEX was R$ 2.8 billion, after R$ 0.5 billion in 2022, R$ 2.1 billion in 2023, R$ 1.0 billion in 2024 and R$ 1.8 billion in 2025.

The 2026 project package includes the Ananaí project, with 353 km of 525 kV lines and RAP of R$ 173 million for the concession, the Tangará project, with more than 265 km of lines between Maranhão and Pará and RAP of R$ 114 million, the modernization of Saíra, which raises RAP to R$ 201 million, and the reinforcement of ATE in Assis, with RAP of R$ 19 million. Combined investments in these projects reach R$ 4.3 billion in CAPEX, in non-inflation-adjusted figures.

With the five new concessions acquired in 2026, which add R$ 305 million in RAP and increase transformation capacity by 33%, Taesa will operate 49 concessions in 19 states, with 16.6 thousand km of lines, 17.9 thousand MVA of transformation capacity and 18.1 thousand MVAr of installed reactive compensation capacity, in addition to Permitted Annual Revenue of R$ 4.9 billion in the 2026–2027 cycle.
