The week between September 28 and October 2 was highlighted by the tender offer (OPA) of Unifique (FIQE3), which announced a proposal of R$ 6.00 per share and, in parallel, reported the appointment of a new Chief Operating Officer and the acquisition of providers 3D Telecom and RSJ without withdrawal rights for shareholders. In industrial investments, WEG (WEGE3) reported a 3.3% drop in revenue in the first half of 2026 and, at the same time, approved a US$ 165 million investment in North America. Another relevant move came from Claro NXT, which agreed to acquire 73% of Desktop (DESK3) for R$ 1.7 billion and had the purchase of 72.8% of the company approved by Cade, while asset manager Vinland reported it had reached a 5% stake in DESK3.

Among corporate and financing transactions, attention was drawn to the moves of the SIMPAR group (SIMH3), which reported having acquired 101 million shares of subsidiaries and, after the settlement of swaps, maintained holdings of 58.9% in Movida (MOVI3), 67% in JSL (JSLG3) and 55.9% in Vamos (VAMO3); JSL also announced a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Investor Relations Officer and approved dividends of R$ 0.74 per share. Movida (MOVI3) approved and had subscribed a capital increase of R$ 152.5 million, while Gafisa (GFSA3) recorded a capital increase, Trisul (TRIS3) raised R$ 100 million in commercial notes with a five-year term, and Paranapanema (PMAM3) advanced in its restructuring with court confirmation of an issue of R$ 110 million in debentures, settlement of R$ 4.27 billion in debt, a R$ 750,000 capital increase and setting the conversion price at R$ 0.32 per share.

In credit and capital markets events, Copasa (CSMG3) raised R$ 1.2 billion in debentures in its 23rd issue and had a new executive board and board of directors approved, amid the termination of Gerais Saneamento’s shareholders’ agreement; Celesc (CLSC3; CLSC4), in turn, approved a US$ 243 million loan from the IDB. Banco ABC Brasil (ABCB4) raised R$ 600.9 million in perpetual notes, Banco Pine (PINE4) recorded a capital increase of R$ 3.3 million, and Bradesco (BBDC4) approved interest on equity (JCP, a form of shareholder remuneration that is tax-deductible for the company) of R$ 0.38 per preferred share and announced an auction of leftover shares from its capital increase. Azul (AZUL3) received R$ 1.3 billion in the first disbursement from the National Civil Aviation Fund (FNAC), while Axia Energia (AXIA3) concluded the 4th conversion and redemption of PNCs and raised R$ 1.6 billion in debentures in its 13th issue, and JHSF (JHSF3) concluded a R$ 700 million FIDC offering.

Corporate news was also busy with dividends, acquisitions and operating results. CPFL Energia (CPFE3) announced a dividend of R$ 0.22 per share and ISA Energia (ISAE3, ISAE4), JSL (JSLG3), Allied (ALLD3) and CSU Digital (CSUD3) approved JCP of R$ 0.57, R$ 0.74, R$ 0.6253 and R$ 0.41 per share, respectively, while RaiaDrogasil (RADL3) approved JCP of R$ 0.0914 per share and SYN Prop & Tech (SYNE3) recorded R$ 464 million expected for shareholders in 2025. On the operating front, Petrobras (PETR4) reported a new oil discovery in Amapá and the receipt of R$ 1 billion in subsidies, Embraer (EMBJ3) reported the delivery of 66 aircraft in 3Q26, Hidrovias do Brasil (HBSA3) reported adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, adjusted for non-recurring items) of R$ 504 million in 2026, Raízen (RAIZ4) approved measures related to its recovery plan, and CSN (CSNA3) and CSN Mineração (CMIN3) revised their projections for volume, production and costs for 2026. Among other decisions, Fleury (FLRY3) announced the acquisition of Unilab for R$ 55 million, Marfrig (MBRF3) announced and then canceled an offer to repurchase 2029 bonds and launched a new offer to repurchase US$ 467.5 million in notes, Porto Seguro (PSSA3) filed for the delisting of Porto Serviço, Alupar (ALUP3) obtained an environmental license for a project in Peru, Brava Energia (BRAV3) started production at well PPT-52 in Papa-Terra, Ambipar (AMBP3) reported progress in the transition of its Chapter 11 process to Chapter 15, and IRB Brasil (IRBR3) disclosed an accounting impact resulting from the new tax law.
