Oncoclínicas do Brasil Serviços Médicos S.A. (ONCO3) reported on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, that it has been served notice to respond to a class action lawsuit (Ação Civil Pública) filed against the company and Anbima – Associação Brasileira das Entidades dos Mercados Financeiros e de Capitais, which is pending before the 3rd Corporate and Arbitration Conflicts Court of the Central Civil Court of São Paulo.
In the lawsuit, the plaintiff association requests the joint conviction of Oncoclínicas and Anbima to compensate current shareholders and former shareholders who acquired shares in the IPO or in the secondary market, in an amount equivalent to the price that would have been ensured in the tender offer (OPA) provided for in article 39, paragraph 1, of the bylaws, to be determined in liquidation by appraisal and distributed to investors in proportion to their losses.
In addition, the lawsuit seeks an order for payment of R$ 50,000 per shareholder or former shareholder, or an amount to be determined by the court, to be allocated to the State Fund for Reparation of Damaged Diffuse Interests, based on article 13 of Law No. 7,347/1985.
According to Oncoclínicas, so far there has been no decision on the merits of the claims, and the company is still within the deadline to present its defense, stating that it will take all appropriate measures to defend itself. The company said it will keep shareholders and the market informed of any material developments in the case.
