In the credit market, Yduqs (YDUQ3) raised R$ 1.2 bn in its 13th debenture issue, strengthening the company’s liquidity, and also announced initial discussions with Afya on a potential business combination. In beauty retail, Natura (NATU3) entered into new shareholder agreements and expanded its board of directors to 10 members, reshaping its governance.
Among the most sensitive regulatory developments, Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) had two CVM decisions ordering a tender offer (OPA) for its shares and released a new version of its recovery plan, with additional clarifications on the terms proposed to creditors. In the energy sector, Cemig (CMIG4) announced nominations for CEO and the board of directors and obtained a 30-year extension of the UHE Sá Carvalho concession, while Equatorial (EQTL3) and Energisa (ENGI3) reported average tariff adjustments of 5.76% and 6% in EPB, respectively. ALLOS (ALOS3) and Orizon (ORVR3) reinforced their access to funding with the reaffirmation of an AAA(bra) rating by Fitch and a stable outlook at brAA+ by S&P.
The market also tracked a busy agenda of capital, M&A, and corporate structure moves. Multiplan (MULT3) raised R$ 300 mn in CRI backed by debentures and announced a projected General Sales Value (VGV) of R$ 5.2 bn for the Golden Lake project. Desktop (DESK3) announced the acquisition of 30% of Fasternet for R$ 98 mn and approved dividends of R$ 0.039 per share, while HBR Realty (HBRE3) reported negotiations with SPX RE involving shopping malls. On the shareholder front, there were moves by key investors: Goldman Sachs reached a 5% stake in Randon (RAPT4) and Marcopolo (POMO4), Morgan Stanley reached 5% in C&A (CEAB3), BlackRock came to hold 4.9% of AZZAS 2154 (AZZA3) and 10% of Lojas Renner (LREN3), AlphaKey reached 13% of Priner (PRNR3), and funds such as BRL Trust, FIPs Brasil Investimentos, Clube Padova, and Squadra reduced their stakes in Allied (ALLD3), Positivo (POSI3), and Hapvida (HAPV3).
Other highlights included Petrobras (PETR4) announcing the early redemption of US$ 1 bn in bonds maturing in 2028, Simpar (SIMH3) reporting annualized EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) of R$ 191 mn in 2Q26 and an EBITDA projection of R$ 524 mn for 2029, as well as União Pet (AUAU3) posting gross revenue of R$ 4.1 bn in 1H26 and C&A (CEAB3) reporting 19% revenue growth. In governance, key developments included the expansion of Natura’s (NATU3) board, the new composition of Vale’s (VALE3) Audit Committee, the appointment of a new member to Iochpe-Maxion’s (MYPK3) Audit Committee, resignations at Brava Energia (BRAV3) and Motiva (MOTV3), as well as moves in concessions and contracts such as the renewal of SBF’s (SBFG3) agreement with Nike through 2034 and the Rota Mogiana concession to Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV3).
