Equatorial Energia (EQTL3), through Equatorial Maranhão Distribuidora de Energia, reported that the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) ratified the distributor’s Annual Tariff Adjustment (RTA) in a board meeting held on August 24, 2026, with an average impact of 5.76% for consumers, effective as of Friday, August 28, 2026.

According to the notice, the average effect of the adjustment will be 8.68% for high-voltage consumers and 5.25% for low-voltage consumers, resulting in an average tariff impact of 5.76%.

The company also reported that Parcel B totaled R$ 2,767.8 million, representing a 2.53% increase. This amount includes the portion related to unrecoverable revenues and reflects the effects of the new contractual provisions introduced with the renewal of the concession in May 2026, under accumulated inflation since the last adjustment of 4.7%, measured by IGP-M/IPCA, net of the application of the X Factor of 1.54%.
