Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais – Cemig (CMIG4) disclosed in a material fact on Friday, August 28, 2026, that it received from the State of Minas Gerais, its controlling shareholder, nominations for the company’s CEO position and for the Board of Directors.

The nominees are Márcio Augusto Vasconcelos Nunes for the position of CEO of Cemig, Alexandre Ramos Peixoto for the positions of board member and chairman of the Board of Directors, and Sérgio Pessoa de Paula Castro for the position of member of the company’s Board of Directors.

According to the company, the nominations will still go through the governance procedures set forth in current legislation and in Cemig’s Bylaws.
