Desktop (DESK3) reported this Tuesday, August 25, 2026, that its subsidiary Desktop Internet Ltda. executed an Agreement Term to acquire 6,087,630 shares, equivalent to 30% of the total and voting capital of Cilnet Comunicação e Informática S.A. (Fasternet), for R$ 98,000,000, in a single installment. The transfer of the shares must take place within up to 15 calendar days from the date the agreement is signed.

Before the transaction, Desktop Internet held 70% of Fasternet’s capital stock. Upon completion of the acquisition, Desktop will indirectly control 100% of Fasternet’s capital, becoming its sole shareholder, which, according to the company, will allow for gains in operational and financial efficiency.

With the transfer of all shares to Desktop Internet, Fasternet’s Shareholders’ Agreement will be automatically terminated, as provided for in the document. Desktop’s management stated that it will keep the market informed of new information related to this transaction.
