Energisa (ENGI3) reported this Monday, August 24, 2026, that Aneel approved the tariff adjustment for Energisa Paraíba – Distribuidora de Energia (EPB), with an average impact of 5.74% for consumers, to be applied as of August 28, 2026.

For low-voltage consumers, the average impact will be 4.85%, while for high and medium voltage the average adjustment will be 9.71%.

According to the company, the annual tariff adjustment process passes through to consumers the non-manageable costs of the concession (Parcel A, which includes energy purchases, sector charges and transmission) and updates manageable costs (Parcel B, distribution) based on the change in the IGPM/IPCA minus Factor X, which reflects annual productivity gains.

Parcel A changed by 3.96%, totaling R$ 2,462.1 million, influenced by the increase in CDE quotas in 2026. Parcel B, in turn, varied -0.26%, totaling R$ 1,297.7 million, as a result of accumulated inflation of 4.72% since the last adjustment, net of Factor X of 2.17%. The average pass-through price of power purchase contracts (PMix) was set at R$ 259.24/MWh.
