On Thursday, August 27, 2026, Vale (VALE3) reported that the Board of Directors had approved the new composition of the company’s Audit and Risk Committee, the body responsible for overseeing financial reports, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
Heloísa Belotti Bedicks remains as coordinator of the Committee and also takes on the role of financial expert, in accordance with the internal bylaws. Rachel de Oliveira Maia and Reinaldo Duarte Castanheira Filho remain as members, while Manuel Lino Silva de Sousa Oliveira leaves the Committee but continues to serve as a member and chairman of Vale’s Board of Directors.
With the change, the Audit and Risk Committee continues to be composed entirely of independent members, now with three members. According to the company, the résumés of the board members who sit on the Committee are available for consultation in the Reference Form on Vale’s website.
