On Thursday, August 27, 2026, Petrobras (PETR4) reported that its wholly owned subsidiary Petrobras Global Finance B.V. (PGF) sent notices of early redemption to investors in the 5.999% Global Notes maturing on January 27, 2028. The total redemption amount is approximately US$ 1 billion, excluding accrued and unpaid interest.

According to the statement, the aggregate principal amount of the notes to be settled is US$ 1,080,945,000.00 as of the announcement date. Pricing of the redemption will take place on September 22, 2026, and settlement is scheduled for September 25, 2026.
