On October 29, 2026, Petrobras (PETR4) reported that its Board of Directors, in a meeting held on October 26, 2026, received information from the technical areas on the execution of the commercial strategy for diesel, gasoline and other products, in the context of the board’s ordinary monitoring of the matter.
The company stated that it is maintaining its commercial strategy for diesel and gasoline, based on practicing competitive prices in balance with the domestic and international markets and preserving financial sustainability. According to Petrobras, the policy takes market benchmarks into account and seeks to avoid passing on to domestic prices the short-term volatility of international quotations and the exchange rate.
Petrobras highlighted that the oil and gas market is going through a period of high volatility in prices and refining margins and that the Federal Government has been adopting subsidy measures for the sector, whose effects are considered in the execution of the commercial strategy. The company said it continuously monitors market conditions, assessing scenarios and alternatives that are compatible with its governance.
In this context, Petrobras stated that, since this is a matter of ordinary monitoring by the Board of Directors, there is no decision, act or material fact on the subject that requires disclosure. The company added that any decisions related to the commercial strategy will be disclosed to the market through the appropriate channels.
