Sanepar (SAPR4) records ratification of environmental agreement at TRF-4

Companhia de Saneamento do Paraná – Sanepar (SAPR4) reported that, in a conciliation session held on October 23, 2026 at the Federal Regional Court of the 4th Region (TRF-4), the agreement referring to the 1st Addendum to Environmental Commitment Term No. 4/2021-GABIN (TCA No. 4/2021-GABIN) was judicially ratified.

The agreement was entered into by Sanepar, the Federal Prosecution Service (MPF), the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA) and the Instituto Água e Terra (IAT), within the scope of Interlocutory Appeal No. 5030493-51.2022.4.04.0000/PR, and the ratification extinguishes the dispute with immediate certification of res judicata due to the parties’ waiver of appeals.
