According to the company, the billed wire market, which already reflects the deduction of the share of energy offset by Mini and Micro Distributed Generation (MMGD), grew 5.8% in 3Q26, mainly supported by the performance of the residential and commercial segments. Copel attributes the result to higher temperatures, which drove consumption, the expansion of economic and services activity in Paraná, and lower solar irradiation, which reduced MMGD generation and increased demand on the company’s grid.

Breaking it down by customer class in 3Q26, residential consumption was 2,577 GWh, up 8.9% from 3Q25, while the commercial segment reached 1,909 GWh, an increase of 10.5% in the same comparison. The industrial class, in turn, consumed 3,337 GWh, growth of 1.3% versus 3Q25, considering the effect of reclassifying industrial consumer units to the residential and commercial classes.

Total wire market, including captive and free markets and supply to concessionaires, reached 9,335 GWh in 3Q26, an increase of 5.7% compared to 3Q25, and 28,878 GWh in 9M26, up 5.1% versus 9M25. Energy offset by MMGD reduced the market by 992 GWh in 3Q26 and by 3,262 GWh in 9M26, while energy offset under GD II and III modalities totaled 467 GWh in the quarter and 1,467 GWh year to date.

Considering all areas of operation, Copel’s total consolidated energy sold reached 14,546 GWh in 3Q26, growth of 3.8% compared with 14,015 GWh in 3Q25. In 9M26, consolidated volume was 41,979 GWh, practically stable compared with the 41,987 GWh recorded in 9M25.
