Midway through Monday’s session, the Ibovespa was down 15.14%, at 174,023.86 points, slightly trimming the losses compared to the start of the day. Among individual highlights, Embraer (EMBJ3) was up 7.88%, quoted at R$ 95.31, while Simpar (SIMH3) was down 58.74%, trading at R$ 6.87, ranking as the biggest decliner in the period.
On the biggest gainers list, in addition to Embraer, Suzano (SUZB3) advanced 7.87%, to R$ 46.45, after having fluctuated around an 8% gain earlier in the session. WEG (WEGE3) rose 6.08%, trading at R$ 45.33, while Vale (VALE3) was quoted at R$ 65.45, up 5.74% at the same time. Klabin (KLBN11) rounded out the group of the five biggest gainers, rising 4.12%, to R$ 18.97.
On the negative side, in addition to Simpar, EcoRodovias (ECOR3) fell 56.96%, quoted at R$ 5.66, after earlier ranking among the declines of more than 60%. Grupo Vamos (VAMO3) dropped 54.91%, to R$ 2.89, while Lojas Quero-Quero (LJQQ3) posted a 54.43% loss, at R$ 1.39. Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) also appeared among the biggest intraday losers, trading at R$ 5.80, down 54.29%.
Compared with the latest updates in this session, the Ibovespa slightly reduced its intraday loss, from 16.06% to 15.14%. Among the standout stocks, Suzano eased from a 7.99% gain to 7.87%, remaining among the top performers, while EcoRodovias trimmed its drop from 62.74% to 56.96%. Klabin, which earlier had been showing a decline in KLBN3, now has KLBN11 among the session’s gainers.
