Grupo Casas Bahia (BHIA3) reported that, at an Extraordinary General Meeting held on October 19, 2026, shareholders approved the ratification of the company’s court-supervised reorganization (Recuperação Judicial) filing, together with certain subsidiaries, which was submitted on August 16, 2026 to the Bankruptcy and Judicial Reorganization Court of the Central Civil Court of São Paulo/SP.
As of today’s date, the court has not yet ruled on whether it will accept the processing of the court-supervised reorganization request, and there is no guarantee that it will be granted under the terms requested. In the meantime, the effects of the temporary restraining order granted on August 28, 2026 remain in force.
The company stressed that it will keep its shareholders and the market informed of any material developments related to the court-supervised reorganization process.
