At the close of Monday’s trading session on B3, the Ibovespa ended down 0.90% at 185,500.88 points, while shares of Taurus (TASA4) rose to R$ 6.54, up 8.46%, and Gafisa stock (GFSA3) fell to R$ 0.27, a 10.00% drop in this session.
Compared to earlier updates in this session, TASA4 extended its gains: it had previously been quoted at R$ 6.38 (+5.80%) and then at R$ 6.46 (+7.13%), ending the day as the biggest gainer of the session at R$ 6.54 (+8.46%). Among the other advances, Dasa (DASA3) closed at R$ 2.83, up 6.79%; TOTVS (TOTS3) finished at R$ 34.51, up 4.77%; Dotz (DOTZ3) ended at R$ 10.58, up 4.24%; and Grupo Pão de Açúcar – GPA (PCAR3) closed at R$ 3.08, after rising 3.70%.
On the downside, GFSA3 remained among the main negative highlights throughout the session. The share had been quoted at R$ 0.28 (-6.67%) in a previous update and ended the session at R$ 0.27, accumulating a 10.00% loss on the day and posting the biggest drop of the session. CSN Mineração (CMIN3) closed at R$ 6.23, down 7.29%; Três Tentos Agroindustrial (TTEN3) ended at R$ 10.63, down 6.75%; Paranapanema (PMAM3) finished at R$ 0.62, a 6.06% drop; and Usiminas (USIM5) closed at R$ 7.03, down 4.74%.
As a result, the close of this session left the Ibovespa firmly in negative territory, while TASA4 confirmed its lead among the gainers and GFSA3 remained the biggest loser of the day, in contrast with the swings seen throughout the session in the earlier updates.
