Midway through Monday’s session, the Ibovespa was down 0.82% at 185,654.33 points, while shares of Taurus (TASA4) were up 8.96%, trading at R$ 6.57, and CSN Mineração (CMIN3) were down 4.61%, at R$ 6.41, among the main movers of the trading session.
Compared with earlier updates in this session, TASA4 extended its gains: after previously being recorded up 6.30%, then 7.13% and subsequently 8.50%, the stock is now up 8.96% at R$ 6.57, remaining the top gainer of the day so far. Among other gainers, Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) was up 5.93% at R$ 1.43; DASA (DASA3) rose 4.91% to R$ 2.78; Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) gained 4.43% to R$ 1.65; and Casas Bahia (BHIA3) was up 3.95% at R$ 0.79.
On the downside, CSN Mineração (CMIN3), which had already appeared among the biggest losers in earlier readings, was now down 4.61% at R$ 6.41, remaining the steepest decliner of the session so far. Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional - CSN (CSNA3) fell 4.20% to R$ 6.38; Três Tentos Agroindustrial (TTEN3) retreated 4.12% to R$ 10.93; Armac (ARML3) slid 3.96% to R$ 3.64; and Plano & Plano (PLPL3) was down 3.85% at R$ 6.74.
As a result, the B3 session moved into the afternoon with the Ibovespa in negative territory and a wide dispersion in sector and individual performances, with TASA4 consolidated as the top gainer and CMIN3 as the main decliner of this session as of the time of the latest consolidated data.
