As of 2:35 p.m. this Tuesday (15), the Ibovespa was up 0.82% at 187,025.00 points, maintaining the positive bias seen throughout the session. Among the day’s highlights, Braskem (BRKM5) was up 8.45%, quoted at R$ 5.52, while Paranapanema (PMAM3) was down 37.10%, at R$ 0.39, ranking as the biggest drop of the session so far.
On the winners’ side, in addition to BRKM5, Qualicorp (QUAL3) was up 6.67%, trading at R$ 1.60. Helbor Empreendimentos (HBOR3), which had already appeared among the standouts in earlier updates of this session, extended gains and advanced 6.60% to R$ 2.26. Grupo Pão de Açúcar - GPA (PCAR3) was also higher, up 5.19% at R$ 3.24, while SLC Agrícola (SLCE3) was trading at R$ 18.15, up 4.61%.
On the negative side, Paranapanema (PMAM3) deepened its losses throughout the day: after falling 29.03% in an earlier update of this session, the share was now down 37.10% at R$ 0.39. Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) was down 7.45%, quoted at R$ 1.49, and Gafisa (GFSA3) fell 7.41% to R$ 0.25. Among other relevant losers, Estapar (ALPK3) dropped 4.40% to R$ 4.13, and Bradsaúde (SAUD3) lost 2.93%, at R$ 14.58.
Compared with earlier updates of this session, the Ibovespa accelerated its gain from 0.79% to 0.82%, while BRKM5 extended its positive move from 6.68% to 8.45%. PMAM3, in turn, intensified its downward move, widening its loss from 25.81% to 37.10%, remaining the biggest drop of the session so far.
