Mid-session this Tuesday, the Ibovespa stood at 186,738.25 points, up 0.67%, slightly trimming gains compared to the recent intraday high. Among the standout stocks, Braskem (BRKM5) was trading at R$ 5.43, up 6.68%, while Paranapanema (PMAM3) slipped to R$ 0.44, a drop of 29.03%.
Since the previous update, when the Ibovespa was at 186,969.93 points (+0.79%), the index eased to a 0.67% gain, showing a slight cooling of the advance. Helbor Empreendimentos (HBOR3), which had previously been up 4.72%, accelerated its move and now appeared among the top gainers, quoted at R$ 2.24, a rise of 5.66%.
Among the main gainers at the moment, in addition to Braskem (BRKM5) and Helbor (HBOR3), Grupo Pão de Açúcar - GPA (PCAR3) was trading at R$ 3.23, up 4.87%. Qualicorp (QUAL3) was at R$ 1.57, rising 4.67%, while SLC Agrícola (SLCE3) was priced at R$ 18.13, advancing 4.50% intraday. Compared with the start of the session, when names like LAVV3 and MELK3 stood out, the leaderboard of gainers changed over the course of the day.
On the downside, Paranapanema (PMAM3) posted the steepest loss, down 29.03% at R$ 0.44. Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) fell 7.45%, trading at R$ 1.49. OranjeBTC (OBTC3) retreated 4.32% to R$ 6.87, while Light (LIGT3) was quoted at R$ 3.60, down 4.00%. Estapar (ALPK3) rounded out the group of the five biggest losers, at R$ 4.15, a decline of 3.94%.
On the news front, in recent days Light (LIGT3) saw confirmation of the end of its court-supervised reorganization process, with the Rio de Janeiro courts declaring that the obligations of its plan had been fulfilled after a two-year monitoring period—news that keeps the stock on the radar, even though today it is among the session’s biggest decliners.
