Around 12:25 p.m. this Tuesday (15), the Ibovespa was up 0.79% at 186,969.93 points, maintaining the upward movement seen earlier in the session. Among the biggest moves of the day, Helbor Empreendimentos (HBOR3) was up 4.72% at R$ 2.22, while Paranapanema (PMAM3) was down 25.81%, quoted at R$ 0.46.
On the list of top gainers, in addition to HBOR3, Qualicorp (QUAL3) was up 4.67%, trading at R$ 1.57. Braskem (BRKM5) came next, with a 4.13% increase to R$ 5.30. SLC Agrícola (SLCE3) was up 3.98% at R$ 18.04, after recently raising R$ 515.5 million in a CPR-F (Cédula de Produto Rural Financeira, a type of agribusiness credit note) issuance, while Boa Safra Sementes (SOJA3) was trading up 3.48% at R$ 7.73.
Among the biggest losers of the session, PMAM3 maintained the downward movement seen throughout the morning, deepening its drop compared with the 22.58% decline recorded in an earlier update of this session. Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) fell 7.45% to R$ 1.49, and OranjeBTC (OBTC3) was down 4.87% at R$ 6.83. Iochpe-Maxion (MYPK3) dropped 3.74% to R$ 9.51, after recent news that asset manager Charles River reduced its stake to 9% of the company, now holding 15.29 million common shares (voting shares). Hapvida (HAPV3) rounded out the group, down 3.42% at R$ 6.49.
Compared with the first hours of trading, when the Ibovespa hovered around a 0.26% gain and TASA4 was among the top performers, the index widened its move to 0.79%. On the downside, PMAM3 deepens its negative move in the session, while new stocks join the day’s top gainers, with HBOR3 and QUAL3 gaining ground among the intraday highlights.
