In the first minutes of Tuesday's trading session, the Ibovespa was up 0.26% at 185,992.60 points, while shares of Lavvi (LAVV3) were rising 0.84%, quoted at R$ 10.80, and Melnick (MELK3) was down 0.69%, trading at R$ 2.89, posting the largest percentage moves among gainers and losers at the open.
Among the top gainers on B3 at the open, in addition to Lavvi, were Lojas Quero-Quero (LJQQ3), which was up 0.77% at R$ 1.31, and Usiminas (USIM3), whose shares were trading at R$ 6.69, up 0.75%. Next, Brisanet (BRST3) was advancing 0.70% to R$ 2.86, while Intelbras (INTB3) was trading up 0.66% at R$ 15.19.
On the downside, after B3's opening, Melnick was the biggest loser, with MELK3 at R$ 2.89, down 0.69%. Vitru Educação (VTRU3) was falling 0.68%, quoted at R$ 14.56, and SYN Prop & Tech (SYNE3) was trading at R$ 3.58, down 0.56%. Among other notable decliners, Cyrela (CYRE4) was down 0.48% at R$ 24.84, while Banco Santander Brasil (SANB3) slipped 0.33%, with shares at R$ 15.03.
As a result, the opening of this B3 session showed the Ibovespa in positive territory and a mixed picture among stocks, with homebuilders, technology companies and financial institutions featuring among the largest percentage moves at the start of trading.
