On Friday, September 11, 2026, Brisanet (BRST3) released its operating data for August 2026. At the end of the month, the company had a consolidated base of 1,587,128 homes connected via fixed broadband, an increase of 3.4% compared to August 2025, with 1,546,354 FTTH accesses (Fiber to the Home, fiber optic to the residence) and 40,774 FWA accesses (Fixed Wireless Access). Brisanet’s presence covers all nine states in Brazil’s Northeast region, with coverage in 159 municipalities and the potential to serve 7,227,390 homes passed.
In the mobile segment (5G/4G), the active base reached 1,144,880 accesses in August 2026, representing growth of 77.7% over 12 months, compared to 644,182 in August 2025. Versus July 2026, there was an increase of 36,266 mobile accesses, a gain of 3.3%. Mobile coverage reached 357 municipalities, compared to 289 a year earlier, and now covers 16,733,000 inhabitants, versus 14,090,000 in August 2025.
Agility Telecom, Brisanet’s franchising arm that mainly serves smaller towns and rural areas, closed August 2026 with 44 franchisees and 97,127 customers. Considering both direct operations and franchises, the fixed broadband base totals almost 1.7 million customers across the entire Northeast region, according to the company.
