According to the statement, the regional mobile operators will make available the 700 MHz band radio frequencies they hold and will be responsible for investing in the infrastructure needed to connect their mobile networks to AST SpaceMobile’s satellite constellation through ground gateways.

The collaboration aims to enable voice calls, broadband data and video streaming directly to standard, unmodified smartphones, without the need for specialized equipment, software updates or apps. By integrating satellite connectivity into the existing mobile network, Brisanet seeks to expand coverage so that customers remain connected even outside the reach of terrestrial networks.

The material fact further states that the final details of the contract are still under negotiation and that the transaction is subject to certain conditions. The company says it will keep the market informed about the progress of the agreement and any developments arising from it.
