On the afternoon of this Friday (11), at around 3:47 p.m., the Ibovespa was down 0.95%, at 186,488.21 points, with a highlight on the sharp swing in Gafisa (GFSA3), which was up 60.00%, at R$ 0.32, and on Paranapanema (PMAM3), which was down 18.89%, at R$ 0.73, posting the biggest loss so far.
Among the top gainers of the session, besides Gafisa, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) was trading at R$ 0.76, up 4.11%, after having posted stronger gains earlier in the session. Minerva (BEEF3) was trading at R$ 4.08, up 2.51%, while Recrusul (RCSL4) advanced 2.50%, quoted at R$ 0.41. Portobello (PTBL3) rounded out the list of the five biggest gainers, up 2.44%, at R$ 1.68.
On the negative side, after featuring among the gainers in recent sessions, Paranapanema deepened its losses and was down 18.89%, at R$ 0.73, taking the top spot among intraday decliners. Next, Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional - CSN (CSNA3) dropped 8.07%, to R$ 6.61. Hapvida (HAPV3) fell 6.97%, quoted at R$ 6.81, while Grupo Vamos (VAMO3) lost 6.69%, to R$ 3.21. Americanas (AMER3) was also among the biggest losers, trading at R$ 4.96, down 5.88%.
Compared with earlier updates in this session, Casas Bahia pared the gains seen earlier, slipping from a 13.70% rise to 4.11%. Paranapanema, which had at one point traded higher during the day and later showed a smaller drop of 7.78%, is now deepening its losses to 18.89%. CSN, which had already appeared among the biggest decliners with a 4.73% drop, is extending its loss to 8.07% at this stage of the session.
