At the close of today’s session on B3, the Ibovespa ended down 0.93% at 185,629.04 points. Among the biggest movers of the trading session, Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) closed at R$ 1.73, up 15.33%, while Paranapanema (PMAM3) ended the day at R$ 0.41, down 16.33%.
Compared with the latest updates from this session, AZTE3 slightly trimmed the gains seen in the mid-afternoon, when it was up as much as 17.33%, but held on to the top spot among the day’s biggest gainers. PMAM3, which earlier had been down 18.37%, also pared losses but remained the session’s biggest decliner at the close.
Among the five biggest gainers, in addition to AZTE3, Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional - CSN (CSNA3) climbed to R$ 7.11, gaining 7.40%, above the moves recorded in earlier readings. OranjeBTC (OBTC3) closed at R$ 7.49, up 7.15%. SLC Agrícola (SLCE3) ended the session at R$ 17.82, up 5.76%, while Terra Santa Propriedades Agrícolas (LAND3) closed at R$ 10.00, rising 3.84%.
On the losing side, after PMAM3, CVC (CVCB3) closed at R$ 1.67, down 8.74%. Simpar (SIMH3) fell to R$ 7.67, a 7.92% drop by the end of the session, deepening its loss compared with the 6.72% decline seen in a previous update. Raízen (RAIZ4) ended the day quoted at R$ 0.26, down 7.14%. União Pet Participações (AUAU3) rounded out the list of the five biggest losers, closing at R$ 3.81, a 6.16% drop in today’s trading.
