According to Azul, this financing is aligned with the company’s long-term strategy and was included as part of its restructuring plan. The company states that the transaction strengthens its liquidity position and provides additional financial flexibility to operate in a scenario of fuel price volatility.

Azul also reported that, added to its existing cash and other financing initiatives obtained recently, the amount reinforces management’s confidence in the company’s strategy and liquidity position.
