Midway through Tuesday’s trading session, the Ibovespa was up 1.61% at 188,190.84 points, maintaining the gains seen earlier on B3. Among individual movers, Paranapanema (PMAM3) posted the biggest gain of the day, up 9.38% at R$ 0.35, while Portobello (PTBL3) was at the other end, down 7.19% at R$ 1.55.
On the biggest gainers’ side, in addition to PMAM3, Viveo (VVEO3) remained among the highlights of the session, trading at R$ 0.82, up 7.89%. Armac (ARML3) advanced 7.29% to R$ 4.12, and Simpar (SIMH3) rose 6.74% to R$ 8.24. Among real estate-related companies, Helbor Empreendimentos (HBOR3) gained 6.28%, with the stock trading at R$ 2.20.
On the downside, after appearing among the decliners in earlier session updates, Alpargatas (ALPA4) extended its loss, now down 4.86% at R$ 12.91. CVC (CVCB3) was trading at R$ 1.77, down 5.85%, while Estapar (ALPK3) fell 3.33% to R$ 4.35. ONCO3, from Oncoclínicas, rounded out the list of the five biggest losers at the moment, dropping 2.92% to R$ 1.33.
Compared with earlier readings this session, the Ibovespa went from a gain of around 1.93% midway through trading to an advance of 1.61% in this new update. VVEO3, which had been up 11.84% earlier, was now rising 7.89%. Meanwhile, ALPA4, which had fallen 4.05% in a previous update, deepened its intraday loss to 4.86%, remaining among the top decliners.
