Midway through Tuesday’s trading session, the Ibovespa was up 2.04% at 188,982.10 points, maintaining the upward trend seen in earlier updates of the session. Among the standout stocks, Viveo (VVEO3) extended its gains and led the advances, quoted at R$ 0.85, up 11.84%, while Alpargatas (ALPA4) was among the biggest losers of the day, trading at R$ 13.02, down 4.05%.
Among the top gainers, in addition to VVEO3, Armac (ARML3) was up 6.77% at R$ 4.10 compared to the previous close. Paranapanema (PMAM3) rose 6.25% to R$ 0.34, after already having appeared among the standouts in recent sessions. In the real estate sector, Helbor Empreendimentos (HBOR3) posted a 5.31% gain, trading at R$ 2.18. Simpar (SIMH3) was also on the winners’ list, up 5.05% at R$ 8.11.
On the losing side, Alpargatas (ALPA4), which had recently appeared among the biggest decliners on B3, fell 4.05% to R$ 13.02, topping the intraday negative ranking. Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) dropped 2.92% to R$ 1.33, while Multilaser (MLAS3) recorded a 2.69% loss, quoted at R$ 1.81. CVC (CVCB3), which recently announced a debenture offering (debt securities issued by companies), was down 2.66% at R$ 1.83. Portobello (PTBL3) rounded out the list of biggest losers, falling 2.40% to R$ 1.63.
Compared to earlier updates in this session, Viveo (VVEO3) maintained its position as the session’s top gainer, moving from a 2.63% increase at the open to 11.84% by midday. The Ibovespa, which started the session up 1.55% and had already posted a 1.93% gain in an intermediate update, was now up 2.04%, while the makeup of the biggest losers changed, with BMOB3 leaving and ONCO3, MLAS3, CVCB3 and PTBL3 entering the list of top negative highlights.
