By mid-morning this Tuesday, the Ibovespa was up 1.93% at 188,778.19 points compared to the previous close. Among the day’s highlights, Viveo (VVEO3) was trading 11.84% higher at R$ 0.85, while Bemobi (BMOB3) was posting the biggest loss at the moment, falling 2.69% to R$ 25.35.
Since the open, when VVEO3 was up 2.63% with the Ibovespa rising 1.55%, Viveo’s share extended gains over the course of the morning and took the lead among intraday gainers. Other notable gainers included Armac (ARML3), up 6.77% at R$ 4.10, and Brava Energia (BRAV3), trading at R$ 18.88, up 5.59%. Simpar (SIMH3) was at R$ 8.13, advancing 5.31%, while Cosan (CSAN3) was quoted at R$ 4.00, up 5.26%.
On the losing side, in addition to Bemobi (BMOB3), which was down 2.69% at R$ 25.35, Alpargatas (ALPA4) ranked among the biggest decliners, dropping 2.36% to R$ 13.25. LWSA (LWSA3) was quoted at R$ 4.15, down 1.66%, followed by CVC (CVCB3), at R$ 1.85, a 1.60% drop. Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) rounded out the list of the five biggest pullbacks, trading at R$ 1.35, down 1.46%.
Among companies with recent news, Viveo (VVEO3) reported that it recorded R$ 630.3 million in subscribed capital increase, with 700.4 million shares subscribed, which corresponds to 72% of the maximum planned, and a commitment from BTG Pactual for subscription of leftovers that could raise its stake to up to 19.9% of the capital. Brava Energia (BRAV3), in turn, reported output of 81.6 thousand boe/d (barrels of oil equivalent per day) in August, with a decline in total volume versus July and a gas reinjection rate of 27% in the Recôncavo during the period.
