On Thursday, July 30, 2026, Vale (VALE3) approved the distribution of shareholder compensation for fiscal year 2026, based on the balance sheet as of June 30, 2026. The total gross amount will be R$ 2.03072189812 per common share and per class A preferred share, of which R$ 1.568705805 will be paid as IOC (Interest on Equity) and R$ 0.462016093 as dividends.

Shareholders holding Vale shares at the close of trading on August 11, 2026 on B3 will be entitled to the distributions. As of August 12, 2026, inclusive, the shares will trade ex-dividends on B3, and payment to shareholders will be made on September 2, 2026.

In the case of ADRs traded on the NYSE, holders on the record date of August 13, 2026 will be entitled to the distribution. Vale’s ADRs will trade ex-dividends as of August 13, 2026, inclusive, with payment scheduled for September 10, 2026, through the depositary agent.

According to the company, the IOC and dividend amounts represent an advance of 2026 fiscal year results and/or the use of profit reserves, in line with the minimum compensation provided for in the Shareholder Compensation Policy. The per-share amount may still undergo a small change up to the record dates due to the ongoing share buyback program and a possible increase in the number of treasury shares, in which case Vale will publish a notice disclosing the final amount per share.
