On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, Transmissora Aliança de Energia Elétrica (Taesa; TAEE3, TAEE4 and TAEE11) reported that it has become entitled to an additional Permitted Annual Revenue (RAP, revenue defined by Aneel to remunerate transmission companies) of approximately R$ 19.0 million in the 2026-2027 cycle in the ATE Transmissora de Energia S.A. concession, after the energization of the second 525/440 kV 3x500 MVA autotransformer bank at the Assis substation.
According to the company, the RAP amount, already including PIS/COFINS, will have retroactive effects as of July 23, 2026, is provisional in nature and is subject to the next Periodic Tariff Review (RTP, a process to reassess regulated revenues) of the concession, scheduled for 2029.
Taesa highlighted that the project uses solutions considered innovative in the Brazilian power sector, such as 525 kV XLPE insulated cables in an underground network, a technology that reduces the need for vegetation suppression, optimizes the use of space and expands the possibilities for future expansion of the facility.
