Energisa (ENGI3) reported that the Espírito Santo Public Services Regulatory Agency (ARSP) has approved, for application as of November 1, 2026, the adjustment of piped natural gas tariffs of Companhia de Gás do Espírito Santo (ES Gás) for non-thermoelectric segments. With the adjustment, the sale price, excluding taxes, will be R$ 3.0842 per cubic meter (m³).

According to the company, the new tariffs reflect the update of the average gas price, which incorporates the cost of the molecule subject to contractual conditions and the international market, in addition to the average margin and the recovery portion. The quarterly tariff adjustment process also takes into account the transportation price paid to the transporter and the recovery of differences between the amount actually paid for the gas and the price approved in the tariffs over time.

Energisa also highlighted that every year, in August, the distribution margin — the portion allocated to covering operating costs and remunerating the gas distribution service — is adjusted by the change in the IGP-M.
