At the close of Wednesday’s trading session, the Ibovespa ended down 2.44% at 171,428.68 points. Among the highlights on B3, Triunfo (TPIS3) extended gains and finished the day priced at R$ 9.88, up 8.69%, while Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV3) deepened losses and closed at R$ 6.49, a drop of 32.95%.
On the gainers’ side, in addition to TPIS3, Azul (AZUL3) ended the session up 5.07%, trading at R$ 10.15, after already appearing among the standouts in previous updates of this session. WEG (WEGE3) closed the day at R$ 47.47, advancing 2.84%. Marfrig Global Foods (MBRF3) finished the session at R$ 16.75, up 2.82%, while Unifique Telecomunicações (FIQE3) rose 2.59% to R$ 5.14.
On the losing side, AZEV3 posted the biggest drop of the day, falling 32.95% with a closing price of R$ 6.49. Movida (MOVI3), which had already appeared among the main declines during the day, ended the session priced at R$ 6.54, down 17.01%. Anima Educação (ANIM3) closed at R$ 2.40, falling 15.19%, while Automob (AMOB3) ended at R$ 8.50, down 14.83%. Casas Bahia (BHIA3) rounded out the list of the five biggest losers, closing at R$ 0.78, with a 14.29% drop.
As a result, today’s trading session ended with the Ibovespa in negative territory and intense moves in specific stocks, with TPIS3 leading the gains and AZEV3 leading the losses, while AZUL3, WEGE3, MBRF3, FIQE3, MOVI3, ANIM3, AMOB3 and BHIA3 also saw significant moves in their closing prices.
