In this afternoon’s trading on B3, the Ibovespa was down 2.74%, at 170,893.75 points, while shares of Triunfo (TPIS3) were up 10.23%, at R$ 10.02, and Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV3) was down 23.66%, quoted at R$ 7.39. After sharper earlier moves, TPIS3 trimmed part of the gains seen earlier, and AZEV3 went on to account for the biggest drop among the stocks monitored in this session.
Among the top gainers of the day, besides Triunfo, Azul (AZUL3) was up 6.11%, trading at R$ 10.25, remaining one of the main upside highlights throughout the session. PRIO (PRIO3) advanced 3.29%, to R$ 72.75, while WEG (WEGE3) gained 2.21%, to R$ 47.18. Suzano (SUZB3) also traded in positive territory, up 1.75%, at R$ 48.36.
On the downside, Azevedo & Travassos led losses with AZEV3 falling 23.66%, to R$ 7.39. Movida (MOVI3), which had already featured among the main negative highlights in earlier updates of this session, extended the move and was down 18.78%, at R$ 6.40. Casas Bahia (BHIA3) dropped 17.58%, to R$ 0.75, while Anima Educação (ANIM3) slipped 14.49%, to R$ 2.42. Americanas (AMER3) rounded out the list of biggest losers, down 13.46%, quoted at R$ 4.05.
Compared with earlier readings in the session, the Ibovespa remained in negative territory, fluctuating from a 2.75% to a 2.74% drop, while Azul stayed among the main gainers and Movida remained among the biggest losers. Triunfo, which had climbed more than 20% at one point in the session, was now up 10.23%, still the top gainer of the day at the time of the latest data.
