On Wednesday afternoon, as of 3:40 p.m., the Ibovespa was down 2.36% at 171,559.00 points. Among the session’s highlights, Triunfo (TPIS3) was up 21.01% at R$ 11.00, while Azul (AZUL3) climbed 7.66% to R$ 10.40. On the opposite side, Movida (MOVI3) fell 17.39%, quoted at R$ 6.51.
On the positive side, TPIS3 extended its gains compared to earlier partial readings in this session and was consolidating itself as the top gainer of the day on B3, trading at R$ 11.00, up 21.01%. AZUL3 also reinforced the upward move seen earlier, advancing 7.66% to R$ 10.40. Among the index components, WEG (WEGE3) was up 2.60% at R$ 47.36, while PRIO (PRIO3) gained 2.39% to R$ 72.11, and Suzano (SUZB3) rose 2.36% to R$ 48.65.
Among the biggest losers, MOVI3 continued in a sharp intraday correction, down 17.39% at R$ 6.51, after having fallen as much as 17.51% in an earlier update of this session. Simpar (SIMH3) also ranked among the main negative highlights, trading at R$ 4.97, a drop of 15.62%. Automob (AMOB3) was quoted at R$ 8.60, down 13.83%, while Americanas (AMER3) retreated 13.68% to R$ 4.04. Anima Educação (ANIM3) rounded out the list of the five biggest decliners, trading at R$ 2.47, a loss of 12.72%.
As a result, the session continued into the afternoon with the Ibovespa down 2.36% and with wide dispersion among stocks, with TPIS3 as the day’s top gainer and MOVI3 as the biggest loser so far at the time of this survey.
